City College Academy Cladding Norwich

Displaypro were tasked to come up with a solution for the City Academy in Norwich on how to stop the children damaging the rendered wall of the sports hall, and sort the ply board which was rotting and coming away from the building potentially causing a risk to the children.

We came up with the idea to clad the building with coloured sheets of ACM in the schools branding colours. We used aluminium metal framing which was fixed to the batons behind the wall allowing the ACM sheets to slide in. This wrapped around all 4 sides of the building protecting it from further damage and added a colourful design aspect to the sports hall. The system we used also provides the ability to individually replace panels if they get graffiti or are damaged.
