Our Embroidery Machines
The Ricoma MT series embroidery machine is a robust, 15 needle colour machine capable of stitching up to 1200 stitches per minute and can handle anything from a simple name through to the most intricate of designs.
We use only the best Madeira classic viscose rayon thread that has an exceptional high sheen and is available in over 400 shades. We are also able to PANTONE® match to solid shades. The embroidery is machine washable up to 90°C (But always check garment washing recommendations).
Other specialist threads that are available from Madeira include Metallics, Fire retardant/resistant, (available in Polyneon Yellow, firefighter blue and firefighter orange) and for a bit of fun, we can also get glow in the dark, reflective, and even conductive threads.
If you are using Displaypro for the first time, you need to first send us your logo or design. From there we need to digitise the pattern, so that the machines can read the file to be stitched. There is a one-off digitising charge, but once we have the file on our system, we can embroider further garments without having to charge for digitising the logo unless it’s a new design.
Select your garments, and let the stitching begin! Once completed collect from our Sleaford branch or opt for our delivery service available across the UK.
At Displaypro we have teamed up with a few select suppliers that offer great clothing brands and accessories ideal for embroidering, that will provide your business with great workwear. How to Order Embroidered Clothing
Please browse through our online catalogue to select your clothing, or for TuffStuff clothing please visit our store in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Once you have decided on your garments to be embroidered, please call our Customer Service Team 03330 153 450 where we can quote and process your order.
If you would prefer to have your workwear printed than embroidered, such as the popularity of T-shirt Slogans, we can do this also. Some items of clothing such as Sportwear and Outdoor Jackets are best suited to this method, if unsure please speak to one of our advisers. Although Printed Clothing doesn't have the same length of life as embroidery, with the correct aftercare the printed garment will last for many, many washes without peeling, fading, or cracking.
Our Garment Printing Machines
We use an OKI pro white toner printer that is capable of printing any colour including white, and achieves solid, sharp, and bright designs on a range of media.
We use Forever Transfer Papers; a 2-stage paper for dark coloured fabrics, and a single stage for lighter ones. Once the image is printed it is applied to the fabric using a heat press. These papers do not require weeding, so are an excellent option for intricate designs, or designs with no background.
How to Order Custom Printed Clothing
The process will be the same as for embroidered garments. Please select the clothing or accessories required from our online catalogue and then call our Customer Service Team 03330 153 450 where we can quote and process your order.
Although our embroidery shop is only located in Sleaford, Lincolnshire at this time, we welcome customers to come and view selected ranges of clothing and accessories and to discuss and collect orders. We can however easily supply your business across the UK with our first class quality embroidered and printed clothing service. Just call and discuss your requirements, and we will happily post your order to you once your embroidered workwear is complete.
Embroidery and Printed Clothes by Displaypro
Embroidered workwear and clothing will happily withstand hot washes up to 90 degrees C.
This makes it an ideal option for the health and social care industry and hospitality. Madeira thread is colourfast, however this only applies to washing with products that do not contain bleach or whiteners/lighteners.
Custom Printed Clothing is best washed on a cool setting, and no higher than 40 degrees C. Wash inside out, and do not iron! If you absolutely need to iron, then place a protective sheet of baking paper and a tea towel over the print to protect your logo and your iron base.
Your embroidered workwear and clothing will probably last longer than the garment itself if cared for appropriately. Please follow all recommended washing advice.
Printed Clothing and Workwear is not as durable and long lasting as Embroidered Clothing. The longevity will depend on the amount of wear and washes the garment is subjected to.
Turnaround time from the point of accepting the quotation is usually 5-10 days. However
this is subject to clothing availability and workflow. Please enquire and we can give an up to date estimation. If you require a fast turnaround we will do our best to accommodate, please let us know your collection/delivery requirement.
There is no minimum order, however the more items of clothing you have embroidered or printed the cheaper it becomes.
We charge a one-off digitising fee of £15.00 plus vat for a left chest logo. Larger logos ie, back pieces - please contact us for a quote.
We can digitize from most file types - Jpeg, PDF, AI, PSD, PNG. Resolution isn't critical but the higher quality the better.
Yes you can, however should there be an issue with the machine that affects your clothing during the printing or stitching process we cannot provide a replacement. Its at your own risk, and we cannot be held liable.
We do not recommend removing any Custom Printed Logos - the glue that is used and heat pressed at high heat penetrates the fabric fibres. We can overprint, which means laying a fresh print of white, then printing over but the result may not be perfect. Usually it is more cost effective to purchase new workwear to print your new logo design.
Branded workwear that have been Embroidered can be unpicked, but depending on the
material may leave a shadow of holes where the needles have penetrated. Woolly clothing might not be so noticeable, but it does take a long time and there is severe risk to damaging the garment if you don't know what you're doing. We can offer this service but can’t guarantee the results. We don’t advise removing embroidery.
Absolutely! Collection is free from our Sleaford branch in Lincolnshire. However no matter
where you are, we can always post your custom printed and embroidered garments to you for a postage fee.
