Choose the right stainless steel & acrylic splashbacks
- Stainless steel: compare adhesive, screw-fix, tile-return and pot-rail designs rather than assuming every panel fits the same way.
- Acrylic: compare clear, coloured and glass-effect options for the finish you want, subject to the product’s location and heat restrictions.
- Stock or cut to size: choose a listed size when it fits; use a cut-to-size product or enquire about a different shape.
Check before ordering
Record width and height in millimetres, wall condition, nearby sockets and any cut-outs required. Follow the chosen panel and adhesive instructions. Check the appliance manufacturer’s clearance requirements before selecting a splashback for a heated area.
Frequently asked questions
Can acrylic go close to a hob or heated appliance?
The existing acrylic product guidance says not to fit within 150mm of open flames or heated appliances. This is not a guarantee that every installation beyond that distance is suitable. Confirm the panel and appliance requirements for your layout before ordering.
Are adhesive and screw-fix splashbacks interchangeable?
They are different product options. Select the intended fixing method and check the wall surface, holes, edges and supplied components on the individual listing.
